words

family.team.co-operation.unity.love.compassion.
attachment.wearing.nursing.creativity.independence.learn.
respect.gentle.consequences.privileges.heart.listen.

These are just a few of the words that can be heard in our home or that are a part of our every-day life. Finding these words has been a process. As we grow as a family we learn new things about each other and about the principles we want in our home. The principles (which lead to word and deed) you desire and want to cultivate must be an active part of our day and family philosophy. The words we use dictate the world we will have in our home.

If I use words that are less loving and less productive, our home is more disheveled. Heard the phrase, What you focus on gets bigger? This has been so true in our home.

Potato for today: Choose your words wisely; family principles must be your focus.
